MITF1 deployed an eight-member swift water team to Vermont, joined by other out-of-state teams from North Carolina, Connecticut, and New York to support rescue operations.
Michigan Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS) - MABAS 101 Course
The MIMABAS 101 course is designed to provide training for fire dispatchers to better understand the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System (MABAS). During the course participants will gain a better understanding on how to develop and utilize BOXCARD's to dispatch efficiently fire resources to a local escalating event. Participants will also gain a better understanding of how to access Fire, EMS, and Special Operations resources through the MIMABAS communications system.
